Mr James and his team offer a general obstetric and gyanecology service with a special interest in urogynaecology. Mr James leads a dedicated team running a specialist female urinary continence clinic and service which links in with the community continence service.

Inpatient services

Mr James treats a variety of conditions including:

• Female lower urinary tract symptoms including urinary incontinence
• Female vaginal prolapse
• General gynaecology including menstrual disturbance

Procedures performed include:

• Urodynamics investigations of the bladder
• Pelvic floor surgery for urinary incontence (including the new incontinence tape procedures)
• Vaginal prolapse surgery
